About Salman
Salman is a Vancouver-based artist known primarily for his abstract and technical paintings, he is entirely self-taught.
His mixed media work often explores the nature of symmetry, the tension between technique and spontaneity. His work aims to communicate on an emotional and personal level. His work is commissioned in both public and private collections.
His mission for this project is to highlight social causes through his art.
The River Flows in You is based on a technical painting - River Flows in You, 18” x 30”, 2015. The artwork signifies abstract expressionism overall with 2026 pieces. Each of the triangles are vibrant, spontaneous, expressive strokes of art which are inspired by his thoughts, moods and emotions.
